wonder if Harrow is at the game

and the Thuuz app will tell you what channel the game is on, assuming you pay for some type of TV service

You people know there's a radio broadcast too, right? Let Gary Hahn paint you a mind picture with his words.

We blocked a punt for TD vs ND last year (and the year before!)

I agree, and recommend you use one of the newer streaming services (like YouTube TV) that knows the teams you like, and highlights live and upcoming games as soon as you turn the service on. Not sure we can call the legacy cable providers modern at this point

YouTube TV also auto-records all events from your favorite teams to the included DVR...assume others services can do something similar

I know it's hot, but the student sections looked pathetic on that overhead shot (especially given that the rest of the stadium still looked relatively full)

I was just saying that too. But also if I was a student I wouldn’t be still at this game.

Shaded part of the stadium still has plenty of people, everywhere else is sparse even the non-student sections

ah on that overhead shot, it looked to me like a decent number of folks were left on both the east and west sidelines except for sections 8/9

I don't think I have seen a group of RBs this bad since I have been following state in the mid 90s

The o-line is opening up gigantic holes and these guys are missing them. I get that it was against the second string, but grady bodine was the only RB to hit a hole all day.

didn't realize it until I saw a tweet just now, but kinda cool that 3 TDs involved kids from Wake County schools (McKay, Thomas, Pennix)

Low on the list of issues but I wish DD was better at clock management. Let :13 runoff before calling the timeout for their fg at end of first half. With that :13 we could have taken a shot or two after Thayer's catch

We could have also taken a shot if Thomas had went out of bounds instead of cutting inside for 2 more yards.

Also our running game is complete garbage.

Also we hosted former FSU QB and 4 star recruit Bailey Hockman on an OV (he was the #11 pocket QB in the '17 class and just transferred to a JUCO this season, so I think he'd be eligible starting next season) and Crouch was there on an unofficial as well.

Maybe not having will Richardson and Tony Adams?

Myself, my wife, my 2.5 year old daughter, and my parents who are 70 & 69, were at Disney World most of today. If we can survive the heat in Orlando in early September then a bunch of 18-22 year olds should have no trouble with it in Raleigh. I don’t ever remember leaving a game really early in September when I was in school (millennials are soft, old man rant, get off my lawn!). It was ungodly hot in the park today. I can only imagine how much worse it is during June, July and August when the heat and crowds are much worse.

Gallaspy had the same issues last year, but our OL was better. He's not a good fit for a zone blocking scheme.

Lol yeah Idk what autocorrect did to Gallaspy. My bad.

And for the millennial comment...the reason they left is probably because they’d rather be drinking than sitting in the sun not drinking. But yeah millennials suck

Someone told me due to me being born in 1983 I’m a Xennial , which is like a bridge between Generation X and Millenials. When I was in school 2002-2006 I did down 12 packs of Natty Light, Beast, even some Molson XXX in 3 hours, along with some shots and still wouldn’t leave early. Also I brought in airplane bottles so that I could continue drinking while enjoying watching football. I don’t know how my liver survived college because I’d continue drinking at the after parties later. Very rarely do I drink now.

In an amusement park you can walk around, have a breeze, find shady and cool places to get out of the sun, even take a break in AC... it's not at all comparable. Noon games are dumb when it's hot and I dont blame people who'd rather watch on TV

If we have to label them, current students are "Generation Z." A college freshman was most likely born between 1999-2001.

Remember 9/11? They don't.
