I rescind my previous comments and can ride on my high horse saying they only won because of injuries. Because they did. And everyone saw it.

I was making fun of the "Toronto fans are hooligans on my train!" angle, by pointing out that Oakland is a bunch of fucking gangsters, and I'm not mad at them for that, but come on, calling out polite-ass Canadians.

He’s a bigger T.O cheerleader than I’ve ever been for muh Dubz, so that’s saying something

Overall, this was probably my 2nd favorite season of the 5 year run. That first one was just incredible, but even in defeat I couldn’t be more proud to be a Warriors fan today.

Let the chips fall where they will, but nobody can ever take these past 5 seasons away from me.

only thing that's bad for our Dubs, is that without KD, we are 1-2 in the finals. That's a shit percentage for all our All Star Dubs, reminds us that we're not really a dynasty.

I think maybe you should actually visit Oakland before buying into dumb, outdated stereotypes. Maybe Toronto too.

This is a dumb argument anyway. Plenty of evidence of Raptors fans being trash, so that’s not really debatable. What else you got?

On the whole? Definitely not. On a block by basis, if you’ve been to either, it’s up for debate.

I was never making a “Toronto is dangerous claim” anyway, just poking fun at the stereotype of Oakland that prevails. One mostly perpetrated by people who’ve never even set foot in the city, which has $15M-20M homes with sweeping views of the Bay, and some of the roughest blocks in the US. And FWIW, I only even brought this up because I know most of y’all have ever even been to Oakland, let alone Toronto.

Anywhooooo back to basketball. Congrats to the Raptors for barely squeaking by a true dynasty riddled by injuries. Kidding. Kind of

If Draymond wasn’t suspended and if Curry and Bogut weren’t hurt in 2016...

I mean I don’t know what the argument even is anymore. Good for the Raptors, I’m a fan of most of their players. Injuries suck and make a big impact.

I enjoyed this season a lot, despite the outcome. I hope KD gets a 5 year max and I hope the Ws can make it back to the finals. Were you not entertained?

this series/playoffs were just the cycle of life after warriors got the benefit of the paul/love/kyrie injuries, I actually hope golden state wins another title though

edit and also the kawhi, but it's actually incredibly lame when the title gets decided by injuries I wish there was more the nba could do about it

^^^ the Warriors have benefited greatly from injury luck over the last 5 years and this is the year that the pendulum swung the other way. it happens. I’m glad that you’re able to admit it.

if you’re able to admit that Drake is a better fan of his actual hometown team than you are of your adopted hometown team, then we’re good

Who the fuck is asking anyone to feel “sorry” for the Ws for losing a war of attrition? I don’t feel sorry for them and they sure as hell don’t feel sorry for themselves. They’re one of the greatest teams in history and if you think they’ve coasted on “luck” for the past FIVE seasons, I don’t know what to tell you.

I know this may hard for some of you to believe, but this loss stings infinitely less than 2016.
It was a phenomenal series overall. Jesus, some of you REALLY need a Hornets/Panthers consistent run of success (titles matter!)

[Edited on June 14, 2019 at 1:28 AM. Reason : I’m not in competition with Drake for anything, but good for his fanboys. Maybe Kayne could help?

I'm glad Raptors didn't let the opportunity flee and put full suppression on Dubs right from the beginning. Lowery scored 11 straight pts in the first few mins. From the start to the end, they were very clear this was a must-win game. Stephen Curry didn't play at the level ppl anticipated. He just gambled too many long shots at the biggest moment. He still has a long way to go to be compared with Michael Jordan.
Farewell, Oracle arena! Farewell, Dub nation! It's the end of an era. KD, Splash bros are all fading away, while Zion is coming at the right time---the league is looking for the next superstar.

They'll be fine. Draymond texted Kawhi, Kyrie, and Kemba and early indications are that all 3 will take the vet minimum to join the squad next year.

CP3? Absolutely laughable if you mean top 5-10, but IDK how highly you're touting him. His career has been pretty disappointing overall, given how dominant he was in college and how hyped up he was when he was on the Clippers. But yeah, injuries are definitely to blame. Great assist and steals numbers tho!

I'm not calling Klay one of the greatest SGs ever btw, but he does have stats to back up the claim he's an all-time great shooter. Game 6 Klay is a thing, along with his 37 pt quarter.

My point was to lump Kawhi, KD, and Klay together because they've all won multiple titles, and I had to laugh at bringing CP3 up last year, because we all saw what happened THIS year when he was healthy and the Ws had no KD.
