Definitely Parquet Courts - Wide Awake, that's my favorite album in quite a while.

I haven't listened to many others you mentioned, but also second Ty Segall, Superchunk and Malkmus's new albums.

I'd also add:
Courtney Barnett - Tell me How YOu Really Feel
Legend of the Seagull Men
David Byrne - American Utopia
Jack White - Boarding House Reach
Jeff Rosenstock - POST-

There's some others I'm not remembering right now...

I'll echo the praise for Parquet Courts - Wide Awake.

I wasn't a huge fan of their album Human Performance, but Wide Awake has made me want to revisit that album as soon as I've checked out all that 2018 has had to offer.

Jeff Rosenstock - POST- has made me want to go back and visit some of his earlier material, as well.

^If you haven't, you should also check Andrew Savage's (PQ lead singer) 2017 solo album Thawing Dawn, I really dig it too.

(I also forgot to add FJ Misty - God's Farvorite Customer)

^^^ Thawing Dawn might be what opened me to Wide Awake. "Winter in the South" was the standout track to me on that album.

Yeah, I might like Thawing Dawn more than Wide Awake... it's a toss-up.

Iceage - Beyondless has been a favorite of mine, I need to give the Parquet Courts album another shot because it didn’t suck me in after the first listen

That Middle Kids album is solid. I'm kicking myself for missing them at the Pour House this summer.

I'm actually talking about "Virgo Fool", which was released in late 2018. I'll take a listen to Hallelujah Anyhow. Good new find.

"Lifetime" by Yves Tumor should have made my list of standout songs from last year.

Haha, I just realized that I already posted this. I apparently can't stop going back to it.

Carry on.
