Chase drove it from 19th to 1st, put it in the wall and then drove it from 33rd to 1st to win today. Best car/driver combo by a mile. I would have never expected him to be possibly the best road course driver in the series in his age 23 season.

The Suarez spin late with 12 to go was such bullshit. Almirola is on old tires going backward with no hope and Suarez goes flying into a corner wide and spins way out of the way appearing dead. Clint Bowyer taking spin orders from Michael Waltrip Racing again.

(And then he crashes short of the start/finish with 1 to go.)

I don't understand the NASCAR line of thought as far as calling cautions. Matt Tifft does a pirouette and burnout, it's green flag continues on. A few laps later, Stenhouse wheel hops into the backstretch chicane, contacts nothing, the car never stops moving, and it's an instant caution. And every few laps when a car spins, same thing. That's wildly inconsistent.

Inconsistency on when cautions are called, bullshit caution at the end of stage 1, lots of laps wasted under caution. NASCAR can't quit tripping on their own dick. Pitiful race management, but the 9 won, so everyone is satisfied.

^^ive seen lots of criticism about the yellows. They were horribly inconsistent. Whoever replaced hoots had a really bad day sunday. Hell, there was one restart where the 9 beat the 4 off pit road and the 4 started like 2 rows in front of the 9. That should never happen. If you cant get the cars lined up correctly, black flag someone until they get where the hell theyre supposed to be.

Stenhouse to the #37 next year, so him and Buescher have traded rides. If I were Roush and JTG, I'd just go ahead and switch them now.

Im a chase fan, so i dislike denny...but that fat crew member of the 22 that horse collared him to the ground shouldnt be welcome back to a nascar sanctioned event for the rest of the season. That shit was totally uncalled for

In other words, TRD are fielding an entry at the 24 Hours of Daytona branded as their luxury marque, and they're calling on one of the Toyota factory drivers from their NASCAR factory team to drive it.

That's what happens when they run a one organization factory effort. When you sponsor cars, provide engines, and have nearly unlimited resources it's a whole lot easier to find solutions to problems and rules changes. Ford and Chevy have a lot more cars/teams to worry about and use their resources to build speed into the cars and it shows how inconsistent the speed is for all of them.

Anyone following the Baja 1000? Casey Mears, Robby Gordon, and Justin Lofton are all racing in the trophy truck division. Alexander Rossi is also racing. I'm not sure what division he is in. It doesn't look like any of them are going to win. The Ford Bronco R looks pretty cool.

^ I'm waiting for the Rolex 24 now. It's going to suck not having the Ford GT in GTLM this season.
