Was Beverly's missed FT a choke? I'm going to say no, since he's sucked at FT shooting all year

Another "good loss" but I think we need a couple ACC tournament wins, especially if we don't win out. Not usually one to mention the refs but they screwed us today. FSU got away with lot of contact on drives and Funderburk fouled out on some bullshit, not to mention the phantom T on Markell.

Definitely a choke. Some will say it's not because we were losing, but they are wrong.


We're still firmly in the NCAA tournament. Now if we lose one of these last couple, then it gets dicey.

every time we got within 1 or when we tied it, I was just holding my breath to see if we would take the lead. FSU always seemed to score the next 6 points whenever that happened. We made some big time shots, but the dumbass fouls and allowing them to get offensive boards was the difference.

I want Markell to be a leader, but you can't yell at the ref like that (and he has been doing that "and 1" yell all year). I don't know who the leader is on this team.

Good game by Funderburk, good 2nd half from Dorn. CJ Bryce and Devon Daniels added nothing to the game today other than one block from Daniels. And Beverly did choke.

so just for the hell of it...if you're down 3 points and you go to the line late in the game, you HAVE to hit the first free throw. Missing is definitely a choke. Now if he had made the first one and then tried to miss the 2nd on purpose but accidentally made it, that obviously would not have been a choke, just a bad bounce.
