I upgraded my R7450 router today to the newest firmware and it bricked. I've tried the TFTTP2 method however this just fails when I try to upload the firmware (tried the newest one and an older one). Any suggestions? 8/17/2019 4:36:02 PM |

probably not what you want to hear, but throw it away and get a gen6 802.11ax router 8/17/2019 7:40:10 PM |

I'm not sure debricking is actually a thing

How bricked are you?
Did you try holding the reset button in the back for >5 seconds?
Apparently Netgear has solutions via TFTP. Check their support site. 8/19/2019 2:59:23 PM |

Kinda sucks because I just bought the damn thing this past November, but the 2.4GHz network kept dropping over the past month so I guess the writing was on the wall. Oh well, should've known better, I've never had good luck with netgear products. 8/20/2019 10:27:51 AM |
