Not feeling good about the ACC's chances in the tournament. UVA can probably beat Ohio and FSU can beat UNCG. Florida-VT should be a good matchup -- both are close in KenPom in just about every metric. GT is out Moses Wright, and while they do still have some good players that's a tough blow.

Clemson, on the other hand, is playing a sneaky good Rutgers. Syracuse is the underdog against San Diego State. Meanwhile, UNC is playing a Wisconsin team ranked better in KenPom and has a lot of strengths which play towards UNC's weaknesses.

Players don't need to be lifting weights at this point in the season anyways. Getting stronger alters your jump shot. They need space to stretch and run in place, which they have. If you're not in shape at this point in the season, 2 days of cardio in the bubble isn't going to help you.

Baylor dominated. From start to finish. But Gonzaga is still a great team. Not sure they were really exposed in any grand way...they obviously got dominated. But they’re still a great team putting up consistently great results (yes, even in a weak conference). They are absolutely a national title contender in most years. Saying they were “exposed” feels a bit harsh imo. 10 sweet 16s and 2 national title appearances under Few hardly screams “fraud” to me.

I think Gonzaga only got exposed in the sense of lots of the analysts were preemptively calling them among the greatest college teams ever, etc.

They are obviously a very good team, but their record was likely inflated by a weak conference and a weird year that made it difficult to find many elite teams.

It won't happen but it would be cool if Suggs stayed and they ran it back.
