-1 credibility

But also for sports talk:

"proud to announce my 2nd/3rd/4th scholarship offer from (insert school)" always makes me laugh a little

I've always thought the "#respectmydecision" posts were goofy

You've screwed up the logistics of a large operation just because the illusion of a better deal came around, and you're asking the coaches and fans you just 'committed' to to respect that?

/end rant

I'm actually of the opinion they should be paid... a salary cap would solve a lot of the problems current CFB faces.

There are only 2 reasons the rule exists in the first place, and they're both from 100 years ago... First, it was to prevent teams from hiring random non-students to play for a game or two, and second, because prima dona schools like UVA and UNC would bar pro (summer) baseball players as "professional" players to remove a team's best player and get an easier win.

That's why it was made a rule in the first place and the only reason it's still a rule is because???

“Respect my decision” is dumb but for a different reason.

that caveat is not gonna change the level of respect they do or don’t give the decision. Although, yeah, respect the kids’ decisions.

We just do hashtags on everything even if it’s a totally offline thing... I saw a poster for some event in Smithfield today and it just said #SMITHFIELD really big at the top. Why?
