I currently use my Bose QC 35 (gen1) for my work WebEx /MS Teams calls. I don't like using my phone for these calls and prefer connecting my headphones to my laptop via BT. The problem is that every time I need to mute or unmute myself I need to be near my PC.

Is there a over the ear noise cancelling headset out there that has a physical mute button compatible with WebEx/ Teams/ Skype? Or is there a way to program one of the buttons on my QC 35 to mute/unmute?

I use the Jabra Elite 85h headphones. They have a physical mute button. I use 'em with Teams. Very satisfied with the purchase. Came down to these or the Sony set everyone recommends.

My post from another thread (message_topic.aspx?topic=628742&page=1#16560322):

"I have the Jabra Elite 85h headphones. I chose them over the Sony ones because of the better audio quality on calls noted in reviews, the ability to set sidetone volume, and the ability to pair with two Bluetooth devices at once. I've been very satisfied with them. The noise-canceling feature has worked very well on several flights and does a great job of blocking out the noise around me at the office."

2nd vote for Jabra. I really like my Evolve 75. Lift the mic and the little voice tells you your muted. Lower the mic and it says "unmuted". Easy and obvious when your on or off mute.

I'm a big fan of DECT headsets over BT. I have these https://www.poly.com/us/en/products/headsets/savi/savi-8200 and I'm able to walk a solid 2-300 ft away from my desk with them. They also have 2 way noise canceling (mic and headset)

I ended up getting a Sennheiser Adapt 660. Has all the features I need, has BT 5.0, and sounds way better than my QC 35.
