Liverpool decided to run the 7th grade team out there for the first half, then bring the actual squad out for the back half.

Erling Haaland says hello. Unlike Chelsea, we can sign new players.

Only if he plays for Pep like he plays for France and played for Juventus.

Fucking Spurs

Did not love having TAA play narrow while Hendo played wide, i guess to yet to match Son?

Also we need more l/r back options, too big a drop when Robertson has to come off

"It was widely predicted that Erling Haaland would find himself subject to one of the most eagerly awaited transfers in many years this summer and — barring any late and unforeseen hitches — it is thought an official announcement regarding his next destination is on the brink of being made.

Sources in Germany have told The Athletic that the prolific Norway striker’s proposed move from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City is now a “done deal”, and should be confirmed this week."

I'm honestly not that worried. City are already world class at pretty much every position, is Haaland a guarantee to improve the team

One of the stupidest god damn things I've ever heard was a "serious" debate on ESPNFC last week about whether City's "lack of depth" was to blame for the Madrid debacle.

City's...Manchester City, the deepest team in football, possibly ever...depth issues.

It got shot down pretty quickly thankfully by everyone else on the panel with an actual working brain.

The fact they are getting him relatively cheap tells me that Dortmund were ready for him to leave. He scores goals (but he gets injured a lot), will he mesh in England? Will he be a team player or become a cancer in changing room? Probably means Jesus and Sterling will leave this summer. Both need a change of scenery.

Who would turn down that salary? Haha. This feels like the biggest signing in City's history. I can't think of a player with more global name recognition joining the squad.

Aguero was injury prone as well. He was still the Premier League's second most prolific goal scorer.

Okay, he's fourth on the list. But he does have the best goals per minute rate of a Premier League player, supporting my argument that City could have won more titles had he stayed fit.

Scenarios for winning PL

Manchester City Win league with a win over Villa, also can win with a Draw and a Liverpool Loss or Draw.

Liverpool Win League with win over Wolves and a City Loss or Draw, Can win with a Draw and a City Loss by 7 or more goals (If this happens then the Rapture can't be far behind)

Battle for last CL Spot (Chelsea have pretty much cemented 3rd barring some cataclysmic results)

Spurs just need a Draw to secure 4th
Arsenal need a Spurs Loss to relegated Norwich and a Win against a safe Everton

We all agree it would be the most Spursy thing ever if Spurs lose to Norwich on Sunday.

Relegation Battle
Norwich and Watford's fates are already sealed

Leeds need at least a draw against Brentford and a Burnley loss to Newcastle
Burnley need to match Leeds result as they have the superior goal differential

My Prediction is City will lift the PL trophy again and Liverpool will win CL and win a cup Treble. Spurs will stay 4th and Leeds will be relegated.

I think Forest win the Contest for Biggest Financial Prize in World and get promoted joining Fulham and Bournemouth.
