Agree. The Devin Carter(?) caught pass/fumble was also a bad call but it worked our way so I'll take it.

We won and looked good after halftime but before that was bad. We did get a bit lucky on turnovers (would've been 19-7 without those which is still a win but not nearly as decisive). Still, liked the way we got rolling.

I don’t think we should really feel bad about having some good luck and good breaks. But I do think it’s fair to say 2 or even 3 of our TDs were pretty lucky. Carter’s catch was amazing but it was an underthrown ball on 3rd down. Could’ve easily been an empty possession. Thayer’s TD was also pretty fluky. The punt TD maybe would’ve been blocked anyways, which is not lucky or fluky. This could’ve easily been a 20-10 type game instead of a 33-7 blowout.

We’re better than BC. Our defense is pretty legit. We still struggle to run the ball consistently. Our pass offense is consistent and solid and Leary isn’t turning it over. But it’s not super explosive.

I’m very much nitpicking. I think we’re good. I think we’re definitely good enough to win the ACC this year. I do wonder if our lack of explosiveness on offense is going to keep some games closer than they need to be.
