It is pretty incredible. He went from barely ACC-caliber rotation player to a POY candidate.

I mean if the year ended now he could probably get it.

Hope he’s back next year. He fell off at the end of the year, but he’s still really good. He doesn’t need to be a 40% 3PT shooter, but if he could just make opponents respect his shot, he’d be so much better. And I’ve said it before, but if he could learn to pump fake or euro step or something as he gets in the paint, he’d be more effective too. By the end of the season he was getting a lotta shots blocked.
