anyone know who is in 1st place in the ACC? I'd imagine just one team is in 1st, but it's possible that it's a 2-way tie for first. I guess, however unlikely, it could also be a 3-way tie for first, but that doesn't seem likely.

it was nice to see a little fight to comeback, but man we were completely out coached and in the 1st 28 min of game time.

the defense looked lost, and couldn't find any easy shots.

Yea tbf last night I was did occasionally think of the common Keatts critique but with DMSs football offensive coordinator talk: other OCs seem to know how to scheme people open. Bennetts seem seemed to develop open looks whereas ours was fully dependent on one man beating another.

Last night was one of the few times recently where I thought we really missed Dusan. Burns has been so good that we’ve gotten by fine without Dusan for a lot of the time he’s been out. But we really needed a more physical post presence. Burns was totally neutralized. If we could’ve fed Burns the ball when he was deeper in the post (rather than receiving it at the 3 pt line) he might have had better passing lanes to find the open man or draw a foul on a shot attempt. He had a couple passes picked off. And a couple of times we just missed open looks.

The way UVa hedges on screens makes the pick and roll difficult. The pick and roll is also made difficult by having Ebe as the dude rolling.

One of T’s weaknesses is finishing at the rim. He’s athletic and explosive but maybe he lacks the strength to absorb contact and finish. It doesn’t help that he seems to rarely get foul calls when he drives.

In the past I’ve thought that KK has done a good job vs UVa. That was not the case last night. Part of it just guys missing open shots early on.

I think we can make a real run in Greensboro. I don’t think it’s crazy to think we have a legit shot at winning the ACCT in Greensboro. But I don’t really look forward to another matchup with UVa.

Yeah definitely. UVa and Pitt feel like top 4 locks with their remaining schedule. Miami has a favorable schedule too.

Yes, with MyWhoreChick we might have had a chance Tuesday. With JJ playing so poorly, it's amazing that we have been so close. I think we could have come back if some shots were falling.

NET rankings change daily so quadrant records change daily. But as of this morning

Duke 3-7 in Q1, 4-0 in Q2.

State 4-5 in Q1, 2-1 in Q2. Both teams undefeated in Q3 and 4.

Bracket matrix has Duke with an average seed of 6.42 and State with an average seed of 8.04 with multiple recent brackets giving us an 11 seed.

I know it’s dumb. But there is basically no discernible difference in these two teams’ resumes aside from non con SOS.

There’s pretty huge advantage to avoiding the 8/9 game. I would love to be on the 6 seed line in the NCAAT.

Also I see Oral Roberts is 36 in NET despite their 0-4 Q1 record and 14-0 Q4 record lol. The NET is kinda dumb sometimes!

This is incorrect. We have 31 regular season games. 10% of that is 9.3, which for the purpose of medical redshirts the NCAA rounds up to the next whole number - 10. Mahorcic played in 10 games. If he does not return he will be eligible for a medical redshirt.
