^i admittedly don’t know whats going on with that situation, I figured he didn’t want to play with Kyrie and when Kyrie I guess didn’t get his deal but accepted his one year deal(assuring he’d be back), Durant was like F that and requested out. Aside from Stockton, has a highly drafted Gonzaga player ever really flourished in the NBA? I couldn't think of a single one, so I actually Googled and the only names that popped up were Domantas Sabonis and Kelly Olynyk- not exactly household names. How many one seeds have the Zags earned this century in the NCAA tourney again?

Yeah I think they probably were deserving. Idk I don’t remember every season.

I understand the argument but I also think it’s hard to keep them off the 1 line in recent years.

I mostly just disagree that their lack of elite NBA talent means that their college team was overrated or undeserving. I think those are separate things.

The “Gonzaga is overrated” takes had some validity earlier in the 2000s. In recent years, i think they’ve kinda put that to bed.

I never said that he sucked and that's why he got hurt; I just asked if Gonzaga had produced any NBA superstars aside from Stockton, and apparently the answer is either no, or not yet (unless you count Sabonis who has two all star selections).

A lot of us are guilty of being sarcastic and trollish from time to time, but some people take it a lot farther than necessary or make it personal when there really is no need to do so. I was asking a legitimate question and justin's response confused me, but dmspack cleared it up and I figured it out.

As as I've said before repeatedly, I don't have a personal problem with you. I don't have a problem with anyone who regularly posts in sports talk aside from the one person who clearly has a problem with me, which is why I try to avoid engaging with him in the first place.

Anyway, no KD isn't going to Philly to join up with Harden. He's stuck in Brooklyn for the rest of the year with Kyrie, and because he's obsessed with basketball I'm pretty sure he's going to play as hard as he can to try and have a competitive season.

Apparently, nothing. The Cavs already had a decent young roster, and while Cleveland wouldn't be my preference over NYC, Mitchell makes that team a heck of a lot better. It really just goes to show you how bad of an organization the Knicks are.

Cleveland clearly thinks Mitchell is THE piece that's missing for them. IDK if that's the case, but whatever. Utah traded away two all-stars and ended up with a shit ton of players and a shit ton of picks (7 1st rounders,6 of which are completely unprotected and 3 pick swaps)

I think in the long run they will win this trade.
