Fuck that PI call. But The more I think about it, the worse that 3rd and 7 play call was where we ran it, and then punted. There was 3 mins left. We forced them to take a TO but with 3 mins, TOs barely matter. 3 mins and they had to go 65 yards. That’s tons of time. Should’ve at least tried to pick up the first down through the air imo.

We got conservative and it cost us. Hindsight is 20/20. But even going for it on 4th and goal in the 2nd up 14-7 is questionable. FG or TD makes it 2 possessions. I get that 21-7 feels like a potential nail in the coffin early. And on one hand I question the conservative stuff and now I question a more aggressive call. Idk. Going for it probably was the right call then, but if you’re gonna be aggressive then, you gotta maintain that attitude throughout.

Morris finally cracked and looked like a true frosh, which is to be expected at some point. Gibson going down surely hurt the OL because pass block sucked. And we’re back to questioning Beck again with some bizarro play calls. Pennix getting hurt was a big blow too. He’s a major weapon and he’s only played like 3 games.

Did we get 3 points off 3 turnovers today? I guess INT at the end of the half basically saved 3 points but not enough time for us to get points…so hard to count that against us. But still disappointing to not convert more of that into points

We should’ve lost to ecu. Should’ve lost to FSU. Should’ve lost to VT. It finally caught up with us today.

I hope Beck and Doeren can learn from this. (Not confident in that, they are who they are at this point). I like Doeren fine. But he is flawed and today is a perfect example.

Feel bad for the defense, had to deal with the offense going back to our crappy play after a couple of decent games from Morris. Seems like if it isn’t Wake being a thorn in our side it is BC. How embarrassing.

Being conservative on Offense with a lead finally caught up to us. ECU's kicker bailed us out week 1. We held on against FSU and VT.

I do feel that they are going to say MJ picked up an injury in the game. He was slow to get up on several hits. I am thinking hip flexor or thigh bruise. It looked like he couldn't get any push off and his passes started sailing mid-way through the 2nd quarter. Also, once Pennix got re-injured he lost on of his security blankets and with Carter out that meant BC could blanket TT who isn't going to run deep routes anyway. Anyways he looked like a true freshman making his 2nd start.

And DD better not say shit about the crowd after that offensive playcalling in the 2nd half.

Play calling was absolute shit. Nothing called in the 2nd half was worth a damn. I especially enjoyed the 3rd and 10+ yard downs where we'd pass to a receiver at the line of scrimmage. Or rather attempt to pass, because they were usually incomplete.
