I know we benefit from that targeting call. But it is a bad rule when the offensive player can lower his head into the contact but the defender can’t. Both guys dropped their head but the defender is the one flagged (even though it was overturned)

When Finley played sparingly 2 years ago I thought I remembered him being semi-mobile? Like doing some roll outs and read option stuff. Maybe I’m totally wrong because he hasn’t shown any of that at all this year

I know this is old news at this point, but it still blows my mind what poor luck it was that we somehow managed to pair the best defense we have had in 20 years with this absolutely terrible offense. If we had even an average offense, we are damn near in the CFB this year.

The entire offensive unit looked like they had never played competitive football. You would think Thayer Thomas would want his last football game to be memorable but he played like shit too. The offensive line has been absymal all year can't open holes for running backs, got 2 QB's injured. That unit needs a complete overhaul.

But yes Finley was the top of the pile of shit he was awful, and one can only hope that Morris was really not 100% and they were saving him for re-injuring himself and it wasn't some other reason.

New OL coach. And new OC. So it should be a total overhaul.

Run game has been so disappointing. I’m not smart enough about Xs and Os to know why. But we have had good individuals along the OL the last couple years. And last year we have Person and Bam and still struggled to run. This year DSK showed flashes but was rarely healthy. And it was very rare that we could ever establish the run.
