apart from not having to be dragged around there---> tonnes of retail are just trying to become in person tacky estore warehouses and forgetting what makes an in person store good. perhaps this will encourage companies to change their business models in order to change retail for the better 1/14/2023 1:26:05 AM |

Don't necessarily disagree, but why did you use the British/French spelling of tonnes? 1/14/2023 6:57:30 PM |

Is it British? google says you're right. I subconsciously thought "tons" was for the weight and "tonnes" was for the adverb but I guess that might've just developed from some weird patterns of internet usage 1/14/2023 7:46:20 PM |

The problem is other retailers aren't going to change. They'll watch the implosion that is BB&B and just shrug their shoulders and blame the C-suite for not keeping up with the times. It's gonna be Amazon, Walmart, and Target are the only brick and mortar places we'll be able to shop, and that's sad.
Oh, and Costco, let's not forget that fucking store. 1/19/2023 3:51:04 PM |
