I hope Deshaun Watson gets plenty of time to massage his "shoulder" so that he can come back healthy.

Portnoy is a tool who I generally can't stand (his CWS support of us aside) but he does have a valid point. Seems an awful lot like the Bengals knew Joe's ligament/wrist was bothering him beforehand but didn't list him on any injury reports.

Also:

Quote :
"WXIX reports that the Bengals shared a photo on Wednesday of Burrow walking off the team plane where he could be seen wearing a wrap around his right wrist. The image was later deleted. Some on social media claimed it was an iPad glove on his wrist."

I guess I'm just broke but I have no earthly idea what an iPad glove is or what you'd need one for.

Basically this https://pen.tips/products/drawing-glove

Just a two fingered glove that keeps your sweaty ass hand from greasing up the screen.

Wasn't he throwing fine before the game though? There is always injury risk in football.

He totally was and I have no idea, I'm just repeating what some other people have said. Apparently it was sore/swollen pre-game, but whether it was unusually sore or swollen idk. I hate sports gambling anyways, so fuckem as far as I'm concerned

Wait so Burrows wasn’t injured before the game? Thought I saw a video of a brace on his wrist or something

He was 11/17 for 101 yards and a touchdown before he had to leave the game. So he was obviously healthy enough to play to start the game.

I guess the real question though, is what was his QBR?

Seems like he had some kind of device on his wrist as though he was injured

another game that Mahomes showed why he’s the best player in the NFL, only to have his teammates let him down

if the Eagles had just been able to tush push all the way down the field about 4 more times, they might not have gotten blown out at home
