Have been enjoying Dead City much more than Fear, but that's a really low bar obviously. Opening Credits are pretty great, very much a combination of Walking Dead and Escape From NY, which I assume is the goal but I think it's niche enough to not be too on the nose.

I am a bit confused after watching the latest episode though, how much could the Marshall possibly have told them that would have made them prepare all that? He knew Negan was in the city, ok. He knew Negan was probably working with that group, ok. He knew they were looking for Hershel, ok. But still. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume I missed some details, but that's tough considering it's following Fear which has just had atrocious writing.

seems that way, but I'm also thinking that maybe the rest of these series will all be sort of stand alone pieces with characters coming in and out as part of the greater Walking Dead Universe, a la Marvel.

I.E. there might not be a Dead City season 2, but we may find Michonne and Rick in Manhattan some how and having to deal with Negan again, etc

So then Alexandria, Meridan, New Babylon, The Commonweath, the World Beyond dipshits, and the Fear crew and others must all come together.

Maybe Rick overthrows General Beale and just as the prospect of peace starts to come to light, his son Mason shoots Rick in his bed that night.

Judith leads the Funeral procession from New York to Alexandria, and just has a mental collapse.

Flash forward, Judith is an adult and its a brave new world. THE END.

Ok so John Connor was c sectioned from a woman who had just died, implied immune?

I would say they got him out before the infection got there the same as with an amputation.

So far I still don't know, but the acidic wallers was a nice little twist.

I think it has something to do with the facility they are in, there hasn't been an in show explanation, just people on YouTube trying to extrapolate.
