Any of you 6 or 7 people still on this board gonna see it?

Reviews seem generally positive.

Planning to see it this weekend. Haven't seen a Nolan movie that I didn't enjoy, but this one definitely seems like the type that I'll watch once, and think it was an excellent movie, but never want to watch again because of the overarching concept of the story that it is telling.

Are people around Raleigh seeing it at those smaller IMAX screens?

^if I want to watch on IMAX in the Raleigh area, it's Marbles or bust. To hell with the "fake" IMAX.

Where the hell do you live?

I'm a Nolan fanboi, and the reviews for this look amazing. Will definitely be seeing. How soon, that I dunno.

don’t think Marbles shows R-rated movies

It's not a matter of location - I'm in southern Wake county. It's just a matter of getting away long enough to see a 3 hour movie.

Saw it earlier today. Great film! No 70mm IMAXs in NC. Closest I believe is GA or TN. Also, I confirmed with an employee it wasn't showing at Marbles due to the fact it's a kids museum and this movie is rated R. I may be mistaken but I believe this is the first Christopher Nolan film with sex and nudity in it.

Spoilers

I think some reviewers are being too harsh on the nudity scenes. I guess they kind of made sense

They covered her up with CGI in India and some Middle Eastern countries.

What's the big deal? The movie is rated R. Apparently he was a bit of a womanizer. The nudity was in tone with the rest of the movie.

saw it last night, it took a while for me to get used to the jumping around storyline. The first few minutes was a little jarring especially.

Intense movie. good/satisfying ending

Spoilers

Maybe I need to rewatch cause I thought they misrepresented the encounter Oppenheimer and Einstein had, between first and 2nd time in the movie. First time its like Einstein all like “fuck you I’m leaving”, and 2nd time they talk several minutes it seems and Strauss rolls in after.

Really enjoyed rational for bombing Nagasaki a few days later portrayed in the film, however I think the film really tried to portray the moral dilemma nuclear weapons posed to be rather exaggerated.
