Such an awesome game. Two jump off the couch moments for me going:


The walk off of course but also in the 6th where UNC pulled their pitcher to get the lefty on lefty matchup they wanted vs Cozart. The announcer kept talking about how it was the right decision to make the change in this crucial moment of the game. Then Cozart steps up to the plate and Gorilla Smashes the very first pitch in the trees in right field for a 3 run homer.

But seriously, this team has waaay overachieved in the regular season. Basically every stat/metric says they should be bad (poor pitching + poor hitting usually = poor record)and somehow they got a top 4 seed in the conference. This is really an unsurprising result. Also if you expect to get to super regionals despite being a host, might as well prepare to be disappointed.
