Love a teaser that shows exactly zero actual gameplay

There's so much hype for this, despite the fact that EA has absolutely ruined every single sports video game franchise they have owned since the last time they made NCAA football There's no chance this game isn't centered on loot boxes and any dynasty modes will be an afterthought to those things that they can easily monetize.

Hopefully they have some separate Ultimate Team mode for monetization, while the regular career and dynasty modes will be similar to previous games. That seems to be their model for Madden games for the last 10 years or so. That, and trying and failing to emulate NBA2K's quality story mode with their own stupid story mode

The deep dive today showed some ACC team ratings. I don't follow recruiting or the transfer portal closely. Why is Pitt rated so high? They finished 12th in the ACC last year and are predicted to only win 5 games this year. Otherwise, the numbers seem pretty accurate.

I think UNC, Clemson and Cal are overrated. Cal is really bad. Clemson's complete avoidance of the portal should be reflected in a lower overall rating. UNC's offense will be much worse this year.

UNC's high offensive rating is likely based more on Hampton's impressive rushing stats and a few quality returning and transfer wideouts than the uncertain QB situation.

I play on veteran level bc I'm a coward.

I like many of the updates but part of me wishes i could just update `13 with current rosters and team builder.

I've done a few weeks of recruiting, not sure how I feel yet, seems harder to figure out if you're making an impact.

In game coaches challenges still seem mostly useless. Challenged a catch (called an incompletion out of bounds) where replay clearly showed foot in bounds, challenge denied. Then to add salt to wound, pause was locked out (pause should never be locked out on an offline video game btw) so I couldn't tear apart the true instant replay. Not sure if the last part was a glitch or feature.

Syracuse is somehow the best offense I've faced yet, just shredded me. Only somehow stopped them last two possessions of game for a one score win.

Things that are broken

- pass defense - on both sides. at one point UNCs qb was 23 for 23 and Mccall threw for 8 tds

- playoff rankings - 11-0, #1 in both polls but #4 in playoffs behinds teams like 8-3 Penn state

- roughing the kicker - on fgs I don't let the edge man even rush bc they just walk into the kicker after the kick is away 10% of the time

The playoff rankings sound realistic for ACC teams based on the way FSU got hosed last year. Agreed on roughing the kicker. Very common penalty for me that rarely gets called on the CPU.

Penn State was my toughest opponent so far. Best team I've played with was Notre Dame, almost invincible on both sides of the ball.
