NBC was doing everything they could to keep a wide shot and not show all the beheaded Maries in the windows.

I don't think the rider on the robot horse was real. The real horse had a real rider. I was pissed that they made a big deal about the flag delivery and then it wasn't even the flag from dr doom on the robot horse. It was just a flat some random dude gave to the rider after he got off the horse!!!

Also Kelly Clarkson was absolutely awful at her job. Unless her job was to just exclaim OH MY GOD THAT WAS INCREDIBLE, THIS IS SO COOL randomly throughout the broadcast. In that case, excellent work - no notes

Gojira was (is) amazing. That whole sequence was fantastic. Huge moment for Heavy Metal. I knew they were going to perform but had no idea how epic that scene was going to be.

Celine Dion was great too. I haven't watched the rest of it. Need to find a condense version because 4-5 hours is crazy.
