My girlfriend at the time got home early and i was bleeding pretty good. So interrupted works better than failed maybe. As a side note, it really takes dedication to saw down into your wrist for an effective cut and then use that hand (the incapacitated one) to cut the other wrist (the interruption). Later i thought maybe i shoulda done the right wrist first, then gone left cos i have more hand strength in my right. Oh well.

I think it's generally women who have much higher rates of "attempted but failed", whereas men just tend to go for it. But, I didn't really look into this myself beyond a headline and a paragraph.
