i used to love that place

but i feel like i've gone like 10 times in the past 7 or so years and it's been pretty terrible

i'm sure the "remember when" fb groups have put the blame for it on everything but late stage capitalism

I used to take issue with the phrase "late stage capitalism" because I felt that it was conflating Frederic Jameson's phrase "late capitalism" with the medical phrase "late stage," as in cancer

but as I've observed capitalism for a few decades I think that the comparison to cancer is apt

what else do you call something that demands growth without limits?
