Had a costco hot dog today. I count that as grilling out

As the boss mod, I feel like you're really saying "yeah guys, go ahead and go home....end your shift. You all deserve some time off. I'll be here working "

Man...

So I had Friday ”off" from work...I had to run the wife around to doctor's appointments tho. I got to play some Assassins Creed Shadows at the end of the day, and I watched some of the NBA playoffs.

Saturday: Chores, and some shopping. Then the wife and I rode our bikes from home to Bluemont, VA.

We stopped at this little diner, then rode home. The diner was cool, and the owners were nice.

They also had some Confederate paraphernalia on the walls, which was kind of awkward.
They gave us some Guatemalan worry dolls? I think they just liked married couples idk

Now, we are watching The Pitt on TV...pretty good.

Sunday: clean up in the morning. Then we invited some friends over for some steaks. I will pick up some pichana from the market, and cook it on the rotisserie. Prolly have some chimichuri, antipasta kababs, and black bean/cilantro/cheese dish with it

Monday: I'm trying to get back into this video game. I probably won't get the chance tho.

On Friday I did some gardening, picked up some bamboo for my tomatoes, broke some concrete with a sledgehammer.

On Saturday I cleaned my smoker and started to refurb a messenger bag. Put the pork shoulder on overnight.

On Sunday I pulled everything out of my Jeep (I was using it to store yet-to-be-installed parts), inventoried the parts, and put them away in the garage. Cleaned the interior of the Jeep a bit. Found that it didn't start. Put the battery on the charger. Ate pulled pork sandwiches.

On Monday I hit the junkyard for some parts. Did some projects on the Jeep. It's back up and and running, ready for inspection. Made tacos with the pulled pork.

Every day must involve pork-related tasks (except Friday).

yeah when something takes like 24 hours to make and produces a large batch it tends to occupy several days of one's life

it was good - I use my own blended spice rub

and the tacos I had were like a bastard child of carnitas and al pastor using pink glow pineapple

Snewf infrequent recreational pork use can be fine, but please take heed and be wary of the dangers of going full pork: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4NL9i-Fu15jdlr2KQf_lyhXl5f0PFnzF

We ended up not inviting friends over for Pichana. Instead, on Monday I smoked some ribs. They were delicious. My wife and I ate those ribs with corn, beans, and potato salad until we were incapacitated.

BTW, I don't think you are supposed to say "Happy Memorial Day" since it's meant to be a solemn occasion of remembrance, unless you are the POTUS, apparently. But I must admit I made the same mistake on Monday (to an audience of 1).
