I think Darryl seems to be less appeasing of the administration. Student Government should honor requests from the STUDENTS. That is why they are called STUDENT Government. They should be an entity independent of the administration, and should not honor any requests from them.

Think about it. What if a sultan from the Middle East asked Congress to hike taxes? I hope this is a good analogy for my point.

ChiaPimp you lost me. Are you saying SG should not talk to the administration and it should be it's own entity.

What would they do then? It was my understanding that SG should be a liasion between STUDENTS and the administration. They are suppose to represent the students request to the higher ups. They are not suppose to just sit back and chill with the students because then they could not accomplish anything for the students. SG within itself has no implicit power (could be argued). SG has to empower itself to be what the students want it to be.

I could be off on what you said, sorry if I was. Also are you saying you support D.Willie becuase he isn't someone that will be able to talk with the administration and get things done?
