TRISHNA'10 Multicultural show

Two Cents of Hope presents its annual fund raising multicultural event "Trishna'10", a splendid entertainment show of musical & dance performances.
When?: Sep 11th, Saturday 5:30- 8:30 pm (Gates open at 5 PM) - Please arrive on-time not to miss the exciting start-off show and welcome drink.
Where??: Stewart theater, Talley Student Center, North Carolina State University

Performances include:
Shriya and Aniket - A high energy dance presented by Aniketh and Shriya to some of the hottest tunes of the Tollywood industry.

Bhangra - An all-girls team from Natya Academy presents Bhangra and Giddha, folk dances that represent the rich cultural traditions Punjab, India.

Hip-hop - Raleigh's leading South East Asian Dance Studio, Spotlight Creative Studios presents bollywood hip-hop

Vietnamese dance - “Triangle little star" composed of 6 girls between 7-9 years old with their Instructor performs a Vietnamese folk dance

Fusion - A hip hop and cultural dance team fuses together a mixture of cultural styles with today's hip hop movements.

Avent Ferrum and !Njyan - Avent Ferrum and !Njyan is an Indian band set up by Undergrad, Grad and Alumni students of NCSU, presents Indian fusion with Western music and Indian Film songs and different technical forms of music.

Priya, Inis Cairde -The Inis Cairde School of Irish Dance in Raleigh, NC, presents traditional Irish dance with a group of 15-20 dancers

Ney, Wolfpack Panache - Comprised of both graduate and undergraduate students presents fusion dance that combines the elements of Bollywood, Freestyle and Hip Hop

All funds raised through TCH events go towards supporting the noble cause of education of under-privileged children in India.
Entry Fee: Students/Children*: $5, Public :$10, (*children under 12 years)
Indian food will be available for nominal price (cash only)!!

Movies specific to region in Southern part of India and they are in different language (telugu) while bollywood movies are in Hindi.
