Canes begin Eastern Conference title defense tonight!!!

After the shortest offseason since the team moved to Raleigh in 1997, the Carolina Hurricanes begin their defense of the 2001-02 Eastern Conference title tonight against the NY Rangers at the RBC Center. A few tickets still remain, so if you're interested in supporting the Canes go buy some -- Tickets start at $12, and there isn't a bad seat in the house. The game starts at 8...come out and watch the Canes begin their quest for the Stanley Cup!

damn people sure are putting a lot of pressure on the team this year it seems. i hope all the fans dont forget about the canes if they dont do well in the playoffs this year.
