WIN 30 CDs FROM TECHNICIAN AND SCHOOLKIDS!

submitted by dmbny414034 on Monday, February 3 2003 at 12:15 AM

In cooperation with Schoolkids Records, Technician proudly presents its "30 albums better than Avril CD give-away." All you have to do is predict Technician's top 30 albums of 2002. The list--determined by Ghassan Hamra, Jon Morgan and Grayson Currin--will be published in a special section of Technician on Wednesday, February 12. Write down your picks for the Top 30 albums and drop it off with your name, phone number, and e-mail address to Schoolkids Records on Hillsborough Street or at the Technician office in 323 Witherspoon. You may also e-mail your list to albumscontest@hotmail.com. All entries are due by midnight on FEBRUARY 11.

The person with the most matches will win 30 CDs of their choice (each under $17) from Schoolkids Records. $510! In the event of a tie, the winner will be chosen by random drawing.

AGAIN, ALL ENTRIES ARE DUE BY TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, MIDNIGHT!

Thanks, happy picking, and good luck,
Technician Music Staff

warning: you probably havent heard of 25 of these albums, so just pick 30 random CDs that came out, or just make up random names.

These are probably going to be some random grunge cds by local bands that these guys pick. No one will be able to figure out this list.

hey man, if you think this list will be a bunch of local grunge bands thrown together, id say your chances...are not good.

this list, infinitely better than spin's, and pretty well diverse

If I had to guess, I'd say anything that Grayson Currin gave a good review of in the Technician will make the list.
