Yeah, but you could kind of tell she didn't operate at the same level of a normal person. Something missing.

Watched the first season of "Being Human" this weekend. Pretty good. Yes, it is another vampire and werewolf story (with a ghost thrown in) but I think I liked it better than any other story along those lines lately (except for Underworld). I wouldn't mark my calendar to catch new episodes or anything, but it was a good time killer.

I also liked "Dylan Dog: Dead of Night" for a monster movie that doesn't take itself too seriously.

^^ I'm wondering if you're talking about the american or british version of Being Human as well. I'm sort of interested, but I want to watch one or the other.

Iron Giant is great. It really kind of went under the radar i think. But I guess that tends to happen with kids' movies.

There was an animated movie with Matt Damon that came out during that time frame that I like too, Titan A.E. It's definitely different than Iron Giant, but I enjoyed it just as much.

watched Beyond the Mat last night, pretty good documentary on pro wrestling from 1999...so it was still the WWF then before it got all dumb

Cactus Jack has a pretty normal family life out of the ring, whereas Jake the Snake's entire life is completely fucked

Watched "Thor" last night. It was good. I was never a comic book person, so I likely missed a lot of the little Easter eggs, but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

bully is on there, same guy that did kids, quoting roger ebert:

"Larry Clark's 'Bully' calls the bluff of movies that pretend to be about murder but are really about entertainment. His film has all the sadness and shabbiness, all the mess and cruelty and thoughtless stupidity of the real thing"

good watch

Limitless was pretty good, its that movie with Robert Deniro where Bradley Cooper takes the drug that lets him use 100% of his brain

I'm working my way through the third season of Damages. It's actually very good if you have the patience to sit down and pay attention to it.

Good call on "Bully".

I've seen some of Clark's other films ("Ken Park" and "Kids". Was he involved with "Gummo"?) And I think it was my favorite thus far. The film felt like it had three distinct acts: the first felt very familiar to his style to introduced the characters, the second part really pulled me into the action because it seemed like a normal group of kids actually plotting a murder,(as opposed to a Hollywood plot), and the third part really got me interested in knowing about the true life aspect of the story.

Researching the murder of Bobby Kent now..

I watched Jim Gaffigan Mr. Universe last night and enjoyed it. We also watched Ralphie May and some of his was funny, but he's gotten way too preachy.

it's been mentioned before, but I watched Limitless last night. It was alright. Good concept, could have been a lot better.

Also watched Jim Gaffigan's latest stand up Mr. Universe and it's hilarious.

Went on a binge recently and watched Eureka and Burn Notice...and now I'm hooked on both, but still a season behind what's currently airing. /FWP

Looking for suggestions on another TV show to watch.
