haven't watched too many movies of recent, been on a Breaking Bad kick.

but I watched one called Daydream Nation starring Kat Dennings last week. I enjoyed it. Kind of a Dark Comedy about a city girl who moves to a small town and starts an affair with her teacher.


also saw Act of Valor was just uploaded. I'll check that out soon.

marathon watching is about the only way i can get through TWD. It's a much better show in multiples rather than waiting week to week. I plan to let my DVR build up again this season.

I guess instead of hating I could make a recommendation. My gf usually has horrible recommendations but one night she got us to watch The Seven Year Itch. It is remastered and looks like it was made yesterday (love netflix). Kind of like a glimpse of that era plus Marilyn Monroe is hot as hell in it. Good date movie.

third Freaks and Geeks. I wasn't sold on it right away, but kept watching. It's some of the better writing I've seen in tv, especially for a show of that nature. There's good character development, even for the characters that you think will be very one-dimensional after the first few episodes. Too bad it was so short lived.

To add on to ^'s questions, what don't you like as well. It will help with suggestions.

I started watching Breaking Bad last week. I just finished season 1 (only 7 episodes in the first season). I wasn't as blown away as I thought I'd be based on all the awards/hype I've heard for years. But I did like it, and I know that the first season or two aren't always the best seasons of a long running show. I'm going to watch at least the second season though and see what I think.

i originally heard it was from some chicks and I was like "meh, probably a relationship tv show disguised as a football show" but more recently I've heard big time sports fans giving it props

they've got like 5 seasons on Netflix, so if its good, it'd last me a few weeks

I'll probably watch the pilot regardless, but wondering what other people think

when was this added? I had been waiting on it to come on Netflix but got tired of waiting and downloaded the torrent and watched it last weekend. It's good, not great.



I watched A Good Old Fashioned Orgy last night. Comedy with Jason Sudekis, Taylor Labine, Lake Bell, etc. It was actually really funny. A lot better than I expected. worth the 90 minutes.

season 2 sucks. don't let that deter you. just remember it was caused by the writer's strike. if you can make it through season 2 the next three are very rewarding. and yes, it'll make you sob like a little bitch.
