More stuff tonight. Unconfirmed tornado right now in the mountains which is very rare.

Storms in Greensboro currently headed this way.

It's sensitivity is too high or something. Quite often it shows me covered with green but it isn't raining.

Our corporate meteorology department has links to whatever radar maps they use on our secure mobile browser app thing. It's been extremely accurate so far.

Up to a dozen calls now. And yes I hope that was an abandoned car that the water rose more on it. Otherwise I suspect we will hear of a call for body recovery soon.

Multiple businesses on the 1600, 1700 and 1800 blocks of Capital Boulevard, including the Milner Inn and Capitol Inn, are being evacuated due to flooding. Emergency officials are using boats to rescue those trapped.

Durham, Orange and Person counties were under a flood advisory until 9 p.m.
Wake County was under a flash flood warning until 10:47 p.m.
Johnston County is under a flash flood warning until 12:05 a.m.

About 2,660 Duke Progress Energy customers in Durham County were without power Tuesday night. Power was expected to be restored by 11 p.m.

Seven storm-related structure fires were reported in Cary, including one at 205 Darrington Place.
Flooding was reported throughout Durham and Raleigh.

Multiple water rescues were reported in Raleigh and Cary due to submerged vehicles.

Cars were reported underwater at Atlantic Avenue and Old Louisburg Road in Raleigh.

Trees were reported down in Raleigh on Pine Timber Drive and Country Trail Road.

Raleigh police directed traffic at Capital Boulevard and Durant Road due to traffic lights being out.
All flights out of Raleigh-Durham International Airport were delayed due to the storm, airport officials said. Most arriving flights were also delayed.

Whoa wait really? I am not even 100 yards from that intersection, but raised up and behind a hill. Shoulda put on a jacket and looked. Didn't realize that was even a flood zone.
