Go White Sox!

I wanna see them lose to the Cubs in the World Series. I'd love to see an all-Chicago World Series

i'm so tempted to make a "Tigers 0-162" thread, but i know that will cause the streak to end

i guess i'll just sit back and enjoy their futility

Quote :
"Apr 22 Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said that Rodriguez's (hamstring) injury is very similar to Derek Jeter's a couple of weeks ago, the New York Daily News reports.

Recommendation: "The description to me has been no different than Jeter's was," Cashman said. "Alex is a quick healer, though, so we'll have to wait and see. We'll evaluate on a day-to-day basis and see where he's at." Jeter missed six games with his ailment, but there's little reason to believe that Rodriguez will miss the same amount of time based solely on reports given to Cashman. He'll be re-evaluated on a day-to-day basis, while Morgan Ensberg figures to take over at third base. "

I like how we can blow 5 games straight and still be in it. Yes I know its early but we knew this funk wouldn't go on forever.

BTW if any of you out of Chicago Sox fans missed ozzies rant....

Hard to get some respect in Chi-town when the Cubs are playing like they are. I want at least 2 from Cleveland here. Our SP has been fantastic and TCQ has been amazing--better than Maggs ever was dare I say?

going to the sox-rays game on saturday

gonna rock a crede shirt

edit: oh and I saw this on espn today:

Quote :
"THE CUS ZONE

OK, you asked for it. Here it comes -- your CUS leaderboard (through Tuesday).

Just a reminder for those who hadn't caught onto the cool stat we invented last year -- the Criminally Unsupported Start. To qualify for a CUS, a starting pitcher needs to go six innings or more, and his team can score no more than one run for him while he's in the game. Got it? Now here goes:

NL leaders:
Dan Haren, 4
Cole Hamels, 3
Jake Peavy, 3
Ian Snell, 3
Greg Maddux, 3
Jonathan Sanchez, 3
Adam Eaton, 3
Special citation:
Yovani Gallardo, 3 in 3 starts

AL leaders:
Justin Verlander 5
Dustin McGowan, 4
Mark Buehrle, 4
Gil Meche, 4
Greg Smith, 4

NL team leaders:
Padres, 11
Phillies, 10
Nationals, 10
Reds, 9

AL team leaders:
Indians, 14
Orioles, 13
Royals, 13
Blue Jays, 12
Tigers, 11
A's, 11
White Sox, 11"

i knew this was the case. buerhle hasnt pitched his best this year but i knew he had also been the victim of no support a few tmes.
