So I was real bogged down at work today and couldn't watch or listen to the game... however, a UNC alum posted on FB: "Mark Gottfried is a sleazeball"

She's a pretty smart chick that actually went to and graduated from UNC, but she was a cheerleader and is obviously biased. but i want to know, did Mark do anything underhanded at all, or is this just pure rival hatred talking?

From our perspective: It was Rodney Purvis. He's a freshman, he's been in a slump for the last couple months, it's the mf'ing ACC Tournament and we have another game tomorrow, so carry that momentum. It was garbage time but it they were still playing hard defense, and it was Rodney Purvis.

Rodney did it because he was pissed that he played like ass and only played 11 minutes yesterday. And hes 18. Also, remember the UNC game in the PNC arena a couple years back where McCauley sent one of their guys to the floor because he tried to dunk in the final seconds when they were already leading? Difference was, we had stopped playing defense at that point. Virginia tech was still going full bore yesterday

I'm pumped for the tourney. 3 games in 3 days without a deep bench is pretty much impossible. Maryland didn't have enough in the tank today either.

I was very impressed with the way we played the first two games of the tournament. Hopefully we can carry that over to next week. If so we could definitely make it to the Sweet 16 again. Which for our program would be a hell of an accomplishment.
