Played with a few TWWers last night, good times. dweedle did his famous move where he tried to video chat but said his kinect camera wasn't working since no one could see him. But secretly, his camera was working the whole time and he just had his asshole pressed against it so no one could see anything, then he slowly starts to walk away until his cheeks come into view, then he turns around and says "Gotcha!" We had a good laugh about that one.

anyone else notice any weird effects last night playing on the xbone?

ncwolfpack and I were running a few and getting weird behavior, kinda lag but also things were really choppy but moving fast with like extra momentum and stuff.

And they upped the amped kraber's titan damage so plink away! When I'm done with carbine on gen 5 (and get level 44 or whatever) I'm going back to kraber!

h8h8h8 sniping. gen 4 dmr made me sad. im 3 kills away though working on the charge rifle crits (which are annoying, but not as bad as i originally thought).

Since you're only 3 kills away this isn't useful, but to everyone else: just rodeo titans and ogres and hit them with the Charge Rifle. They have a crit zone under the place you hit while you're rodeoing them.

im 3 kills away with the DMR. I still have about 22 to go with the charge rifle (just got it yesterday, but was mostly focusing on dmr kills).

i take it it doesnt blow you up like the sidewinder then.

I meant to say the Atlas and the Ogre. It doesn't work on Stryder. And no, it doesn't hurt you and it hits like a truck. Charge Rifle is the heat, though the Gen5 sidewinder challenge has warmed me up to them a bit.

^^you'll know if it's a crit hit when you're not rodeoing if the x that appears is red instead of white.

plasma railgun is pretty terrible. once you get the charged up version i just like to think of it as a shitty 40mm.

I'm using arc cannon now for gen 5 and while it is doable, you get KS'd so fucking much.

With the arc cannon challenge you must play LTS and you must just hang around other titans and steal their kills.

Same with railgun too. I'd suggest not using the quick shot version and just hanging behind other titans and stealing their kills with fully charged plasma shots.

i actually preferred the quickshot version of the plasma railgun so i could use it somewhat normally. i like to get up in people's faces, so id just punch / smoke ppl down then do a quick final blast with the quick shot (using it almost like a shotgun).

LTS for arc cannon is very true though. i ended up just doing all 43 kills i had left in LTS yesterday. didn't take that long once i got a good team. i don't recommend capacitor though if you hate getting KS'd.

either way, just finished my 5 goosers last night so 3 more levels and I'm out of gen 5.

im fairly happy with it. i wish they'd fix a few small things like having LTS start when teams are 3v6. why not just have only 3 of the 6 spawn?

just finished my gen 7 requirements either way. onwards to the very lame gen 8.

this is true. cant tell you how many times some noob would rather throw one and blow it up randomly (missing the first 1-2) rather than, you know, shooting a gun.

what they need to do is balance the weapons. the starting 3 (shotgun, carbine, pistol) are way better than everything else. how many times have you been killed by a g2a4, hemlock, or something else when someone WASN'T just using it for a gen requirement? probably little if ever. SMGs and the occassional DMR are the only exceptions.

some of these fixes are welcome though. particularly:
Improved next game map and mode selection, so the chance of replaying the same map or mode as the last game should be very rare.
