Welp. Looks like the smart money ain't so smart.

Upgraded to flagrant 2, fine issued but no suspension.

That's actually huge for the Ws

Without Green, I'd say the series would be over in 5. Tomorrow's game is going to give me a heart attack.

Green is really immature and overly emotional. He's really undisciplined, and it would not surprise me at all to see him meltdown and cost the warriors this series. He flails all the time (I swear I thought he broke the referees hand a week ago or so). Honestly, I could see his stock drop severely after this series if he can't keep his emotions in check, which will give him plenty of time to sit in his kitchen and slowly make sandwiches.

And I would really LOVE watching the warriors lose this one, just so all the bay area bandwagon fans will shut the fuck up forever about calling this the greatest team ever. I actually didn't mind watching their rise to the top of the league the past few years, but that'll do, Dubs. That'll do.

Oh yeah, the fact that he's one flagrant away from suspension virtually guarantees a suspension soon. If not this series then in the finals if they make it.

He's a really good player but he's dirty and chippy all the time. Classic guy you hate unless he's on your team. He's getting a really bad rep around the league and with the officials. He'll be much less effective next year because he's drawn attention to himself so he won't get away with as much going forward.

you gotta have an enforcer to be a great team. unless you are the spurs they never need one for some reason. i guess its pop.

There's a wide line between being an enforcer and being a dramatic primadona with a penchant for nut kicking. Draymond Green is the latter, not the former.

This 100%. I would hate his guts if he were on any other team, but he has brought the LOLs and wins over the years, so he's one of my favorite players in the league.

I don't hate him but that was a dirty play . He definitely gets suspended if he were a lesser player.

He looks like a guy who would stink and have bad breath

How's that not an intentional foul on Patterson? Grabbed Lebron by the shoulders and didn't make a play on the ball.

Man, the NBA just doesn't call the moving screen anymore. It happens on about 95% of possessions.

Oof, rough call on Lebron there. Looked like a clean strip of Derozen.

People dogged the raptors a little too hard but those first two games were ugly.

Valanciunas could be back. I don't think they will win a game in cleveland but okc - cle or gsw - cle needs to happen dammit

I think I posted a link like 5 years ago in a Bobcats thread about how one of those nerdy stats you like had him as the most efficient shot blocker since one of Dwight Howard's more efficient years. He made some big plays late, but Richard fucking Jefferson was dunking at will just a few minutes earlier.

The Hornets have made a lifetime of dumbass moves but letting Biyombo walk for basically nothing was another for the pile

Like...why do you draft a 19 year old defense first Center and then make no attempt to hold on to him. Do they just have no idea how this shit works? DPOYs aren't teenagers

Stephen a smith is so freaking unbearable it's ridiculous. Like in what world is he an expert.

When i found out skip Bayless makes $6m omg. Talk about life not being fair. Bayless is a genius for taking the Devils advocate view and defending it somewhat reasonably...

Stephen a smith takes the most obvious things ever and acts like he's an expert. I know none of this is new but my god why are we subjected to that guy ever

This rant on lebron because he didn't score in the last 5 minutes? Really? Triple double

I think it was some other stat that I was thinking of. Anyway, Cleveland was getting a lot of open dunks in the paint when he was in the game in the 4th. He's certainly balled the fuck out these last 2 games though and he's only 23. Apparently Clifford wasn't a big fan. Maybe he would've been a lazy ass in Charlotte if he didn't get the change of scenery.

charlotte just doesn't have enough offense for a guy like byombo to work. toronto has two prolific scorers so they can afford to have a guy on the floor who can't score.

Derozan is a poor perimeter shooter and Lowry had been for most of the postseason.

We made a mistake. He's a dive man, his hands are pretty freaking terrible though

You always want a guy like that on your bench imo. Cleveland was getting so many easy buckets now they're limited to perimeter shots that aren't falling

i changed my mind completely on the draymond green play. they showed a bunch of clips and he kicks his leg out that exact same way all the time to draw attention to fouls. it just happens that adams happened to be there this time. its definitely a flagrant foul but the intent isn't there anymore.

Its amazing the amount of flak that Lebron gets while Curry gets zilch. Curry was abysmal in the 4th quarter in game 1...crickets. All the talk was about the Thunder (deservedly so).

Lebron has been Mr. Efficient for the entirety of the playoffs and had a great game...yet gets blasted for not scoring in the final 5 minutes? Why not talk about how Lowry and Derozan were unconscious for the entire game? Those guys couldn't miss...hitting some pretty highly-contested shots.

Lebrons perimeter shot has definitely left him. But he was never some marksman from deep.

His strength is that he creates efficient wide open 3s for other players. He scores efficiently, but with the new rules he can't just barrel to the basket on every play. Hes got a lot of mileage on his legs.

Like duncan is considered the best pf of alltime and Almost never criticized. He wasnt some big time scorer in his 30s.

I don't understand why people can't accept Lebron is a passer first, scorer second. He tried to outscore Golden State by himself because he didn't have teammates.

They've got biyombo in there protecting the rim, so why would lebron go full on assault at the basket?

Love and Irving are failing them

Yup, and even with that they still almost pulled it off last night once Kyrie hit a few and Frye got hot after one of the worst shooting performances in a first half i can remember.

That and their defense has been awful. Not having any rim protection at all is hurting them on pick and rolls. Kyrie has been abysmal, I found myself repeatedly thinking that Delly was playing good D. He wasn't, it just wasn't as awful as Kyrie's. JR is just JR, he's never been a good perimeter defender, but when his offense is off he starts reaching and being dumb on the other end too.

Frye is also a minus defender so when they sub out Love when he goes cold it's basically an even trade since they lose strength on the glass.

I wasn't going to say anything since I figured people would just call me a homer, but this is what I thought too. When it happened in real time, I didn't even notice it and neither did any of the other players. It wasn't until they replayed it later and Adams tried to sell it that everyone started freaking out over it.

I thought it was definitely intentional, just because he does it all the time doesn't make it intentional.

From a betting standpoint i wish he was out but from anow entertainment standpoint I'm glad he's playing.

He was really, really bad in game 3 though. Adams is a bad matchup for him so far

You can think it was unintentional, a lot of people agree and a lot of people including me disagree. What does make you sound like a homer is saying Adams "tried to sell it." That's just ridiculous.

I'm predicting that Draymond will miss a game due to suspension in this series. He's too chippy not to get another flagrant especially with extra attention on him.

yes he intentionally kicked his leg out but if he intentionally kicks his leg out everytime he gets fouled then you CANNOT say that he intentionally kicked his leg out this particular time just to hit adams in the nuts. You just can't.

unless of course you subscribe to the idea that Draymond decided to start kicking his leg out at the start of the season so he could have a free pass to kick someone in the nuts if he ever got pissed off enough.
