let users permanently delete PMs, instead of moving them to a folder with a different name, and having to store them on the server

the lag isn't an internal server issue, it's the bandwidth

the sent messages bit too...i tried last weekend to see if i had sent a message, and i couldnt get to my sent mail folder

why was it appropriate to create a new thread that had nothing to do with anything when one already existed message_topic.aspx?topic=169838 we need a mod like yesterday for this type of stuff being posted in Feedback.

The thing that would help the lag the most would be to allow authenticated members to view photos. Too many people are using TWW as their personal photo gallery (Without contributing anything I may add) and simply emailing or having the gallery link in their AIM profile. That is probably the main reason there are typically more anonymous users than registered users at any one time.
