Yeah, I know the kit lens sucks, but I'm a newbie so I thought it would be a good starting point. I hear it's at least good enough for the price, but if you don't have any use for it, look elsewhere I guess.

Kind of shying away from the canon, now. To get the good L series lenses, its 1k+. The Nikon D70s body is a little bit more, but they have a bomb ass 18-200mm lens for $700. Thus, the overall price for the D70s will be lower.

I haven't seen so many Nikon coupons, though.
