I've got a motorcycle flywheel that someone has hammered on enough to lose it's magnetism. Any way I can get it remagnetized?

but i'll sent you some bent ass mag wheels you can throw on there to match the flywheel

no, and you cant replace the magnets either, just get a new flywheel, and probably a new crank if you beat on it that much, try using the correct puller next time

Meh. It happens. I made a thread a few years ago when I had to pull the flywheel off my Sea Doo. Fucker took me two days with literally hours of turn the wrench, heat, hammer, repeat. I was using a harmonic balancer puller, a three foot breaker bar, a propane torch, and a hammer. Ended up breaking two ratchet handles, two balancer pullers, and gouged up the kitchen floor in the process. I'm sure I destroyed the crank seals with all that heat. Not a big deal since the motor was just going back as a core.

No idea why you would hammer something on though. That's weird.

Think he meant the guy struck the flywheel directly with the hammer.
