i like dane cook in Waiting.. and thought he was even ok in Employee of the Month but his stand up is awful. I've never understood what people find so great about it

i'm just going to go ahead and say a couple of things.

1. dane cook. not funny.
2. confession: i did like one dane cook joke about burger king. i didn't really like the joke so much as running around yelling "and the pickles." it was like one of those phrases i got stuck on for awhile (and liked to say when drunk).
3. i did not hate dane cook in dan in real life. he was actually pretty well cast in his part.
4. i think this is because he's a huge douche.

That's true but that's part of the delivery that I like. I think a good example of that delivery is his joke on the person who got hit by a car. By itself it isn't very funny, but the story he draws and sound effects makes it.
