Well its football season again and Im looking to make a few kinds of different dips amd salsas.

looking for a creamy ranch, western/mexican salsa, and a quesoish(sp)

thats funny i could have sworn i watched a few games the last couple of weeks, preseason is still football season, not to mention the first state game is less than 2 weeks away,

kind of like hurricane season, even though we havent had one yet.

Put both in a pot on low/med low and stir often until completely melted

may i suggest you simply search one of the several recipe sites on the internet. one with reviews would be a good idea that way you know it's worth making

nah son, mix with a spork, that way at the end you can scrape out the bottom incase you made just under enough

brown some jimmy dean hot sausage and drain it
throw in whatever kinda salsa you like
and put in velveeta until you get the consistency you want


probably not the absolute greatest, but it's quick and easy and tasty

so i did the rotel and cheese but i think i cut cheese to thin, if i add more cheese this should thicken it up some right.

I'd rather cook a hearty chili and scoop it up with Frito Scoops. you could add some shredded cheese on top of that and call it nacho dip.

Salsamole

1/4 C. red onion, finely chopped
1T. fresh lime juice
1/2 T. cider vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 garlic clove, minced
1 Serrano chile, seeded and finely chopped
1/4 C. fresh cilantro, chopped
1 ripe, peeled avocado, seeded and coarsely mashed
1 medium tomato, chopped

Combine the red onion, lime juice, cider vinegar, salt, garlic and Serrano chile in a medium bowl. Add cilantro, avocado and tomato; stir well. Serve immediately. Yield: 1 cup.

the best dip ever hands down

spread the bottom of a rectangular pan with cream cheese (even it to about 1/4 inch)
pour on a can of chilly (with or without beans)
sprinkle with tons of shredded cheddar

bake in 350 degree oven for about 15 mins or until cheese is melted and bubbly
grab some chips or Ritz (cause they are great with this)
and enjoy some football!!!

Block of cream cheese
block of neese's sausage
can of Rotel.

cook sausage and combine all ingredients in small crock pot or pot on the stove. Heat until cheese is melted and warm throughout.

so simple, and so fucking amazing

I also have an awesome buffalo chicken dip recipe, let me see if I can find it.

my mom just gave me this kick ass Black Bean Mexican dip that is YUMMO

here ya go:

1 15 oz can black beans, drained
1 15 oz can white corn, drained
1 cup bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
1/4 cup olive oil
3 tbsp veg oil
3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp cilantro, chopped
2 tsp honey
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp red pepper
1/4 tsp black pepper

Mix all ingredients together and marinate in refrigerator for 24 hours. Serve with tortilla chips.

This one is always a HUGE hit at the Super Bowl party:

BUFFALO CHICKEN DIP

INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)

* 2 (10 ounce) cans chunk chicken, drained
* 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
* 1 cup Ranch dressing
* 3/4 cup pepper sauce (such as Frank's Red Hot®)
* 1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
*
* 1 bunch celery, cleaned and cut into 4 inch pieces
* 1 (8 ounce) box chicken-flavored crackers


DIRECTIONS

1. Heat chicken and hot sauce in a skillet over medium heat, until heated through. Stir in cream cheese and ranch dressing. Cook, stirring until well blended and warm. Mix in half of the shredded cheese, and transfer the mixture to a slow cooker. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top, cover, and cook on Low setting until hot and bubbly. Serve with celery sticks and crackers.

My friend from Buffalo makes a different buffalo chicken dip that she actually bakes in the oven. I have been trying for years to get her to give me the recipe, but she won't. It blows mine out of the water.

not a queso dip or bean dip but still pretty damn good guac dip:

Three ripe avacados, crush them up until they are pasty/ dip like

Add 1 can rotel, get the kind with habaneros if you want it spicy

then just keep adding salt and lime juice until it tastes like you think it should





avacados are pretty good for you too I think

I am going to Costco tomorrow to buy 10 whole chickens to put in the deep freezer, lol. We cook with chicken so much and it is so much cheaper than buying the pieces already cut up.
