I just recently started watching this show and am begining season 3 now. I am a pretty big fan to say the least. While not perfect it definitely is different than so many other shows, even if it still has some stupid cliche shit in there, its minimal.

for some reason this reminded me of the episode of House where House does a generic American's impersonation of a British accent. It kind of made me think of how weird it would be to do that. Even if I could do a good British accent, I don't know how I would pretend to be someone with a British accent impersonating an American accent.

Was hard to think about. Maybe thats because I'm just a bad at impersonations and accents

Man, that article bums me out. I hope season 5 won't suck. Audiences want to see crazy stalker serial killers and Dexter offing people, not him "dressing the kids" and "grieving the loss." I was really on board with the rumors that they'd skip ahead to when Dexter had to start teaching Harrison about the code.

i imagine the first scene with Deb and the kids will be something like "ok fucking kids, who wants fucking cereal for fucking breakfast"

one of my gripes about the show is she seems like a midwestern girl who never cussed in her life and is now suddenly scripted to cuss nonstop and has no idea how to do it and seem natural

i actually read at the end of season 4 that they were NOT bringing her back in that respect. Julie Benz herself said she was not doing it. that's why i'm kinda shocked and excited to see them doing it. i think it's a good thing, it'll give us some "Rita Closure".

Usually I work on Sunday nights... I'm swapping weekend nights with someone so I can have some friends over for the premiere on the 26th. I've gotten all of them hooked on the series over the last few weeks. We're talking straight up marathon Dexter viewing, covering all 4 seasons in like 5 days. Now they're hooked.
