Couldn't find a topic, but just in case, obligatory please lock/suspend/make fun of me in case I missed it
Anyways I've got a serious problem I need some help with, the first two pitchers I selected this year were Zack Greinke and Jared Weaver. It's a head to head league that uses standard rotisserie scoring, with a money bonus for the overall roto leader at the end. So while my overall score will take a pretty good hit from these guys being on the bench, just taking it up the pooper for the next 4-6 weeks is an option as I could possibly make a late season run when they're back after potentially losing most of the next 4-6 games.
So anyways, I need to decide whether to try and workout some trades using my hitters, trade one or both of these injured mofos away for scraps, or just hang tight. Here's my full team for reference:
(we start: C, 1B, 3B, CI, 2B, SS, MI, 5 OF, DH / 5 SP, 2 RP, 2 P (either SP or RP)
C: Buster Posey, Ryan Doumit 1B: Adam Dunn, Brandon Belt 3B: Evan Longoria, Martin Prado 2B: Robinson Cano, Dustin Ackley SS: Ben Zobrist OF: Carlos Beltran, Michael Morse, Alex Gordon, Jeff Francouer, Craig Gentry, Justin Ruggiano, Leonys Martin, Wil Myers (minors)
SP: Jon Lester, Doug Fister, Josh Johnson, Mike Minor, Wade Miley, James MacDonald, Tim Hudson, Josh Beckett, Jason Vargas, Jared Weaver (DL), Zack Greinke (DL) RP: Huston Street, JJ Putz
Oh and one last thing to mention: We don't have a DL, so they are taking up spots on the roster 4/12/2013 9:39:27 AM |
