Thought the show was awesome last night. Hadn't ever seen/heard Wye Oak before and was blown away. Future Islands was as great as ever, and I thought the drums added a lot. Also, I think Amelia from Sylvan Esso should be dancing next to the stage for all future Future Islands shows.

I haven't listened to much Future Islands since Wave like Home and Evening Air, but i just saw the Letterman video above.

That was awesome. What a fucking weird but awesome dude. haha I'm going to watch it again. And check out their new stuff.

Hmm, they just added a second future islands show for the 28th. I can't go the since I'll be at Chvrches, but I wonder if I could get tickets to that and find someone to trade with for the 27th show. Terrible plan? Think the 28th show will sell out too?

The second show will likely sell out. A lot of the crowd will go both nights, but I'm sure you could find somebody to trade with.

It's the 27th or nothing for me. If you're just asking why I'm so hellbent on seeing them at all, I just like them and figure I have enough time between now and the 27th to find a way to get there somehow.

The show last night was awesome. I was surprised to hear they'd never sold out the cradle before. But now they've done it two nights in a row, so that's pretty amazing.
