You can actually, but it's a glitch. If you stand in the shadows behind columns behind the mailbox and stand in a certain spot, you can fool the game into thinking you're not actually "in" Ironforge. Sort of the same way you can mount up on the zeppelin if you stand on the very very edge...

about to hit 46 with my shaman. made my second 100g after buying my mount. 3 of my guildmates and I raided westfall and darkshire, that was interesting. We took out every npc, including some of their quest givers, in and around the tower in westfall before a group of 5 lvl 50+ alliance came (our group was me, 46 shaman, 40 warrior, 44 hunter). Got 3 DK's out of it though because one of the pvp's was a civilain and kept attacking us.

me and guildmate were questing in taranis, still flagged from the raids and a lvl 45 pally and 50 rogue decided to try to gank us. I took out the pally easily as all he could do was sit and try to heal himself while I purged and shocked him to death, then helped to take out what was left of the rouge. I thought we were toast when they came over to us but we waxed em.

Oh, if anyone has lockpicking 175 or higher on Kael'thas let me know, need a box opened and since its a newer server there arent too many that can.

that sounds like you were fighting something that only dealt elemental damage. I never run into anything that does even 100 melee damage anymore, much less 700.

well the guy who said he was getting hit for 700+ was a warrior... so if he's in leather for some reason, he likely needs to just stop playing now and save some money

well he said he was fairly well geared. Not to mention he said he was 58. A warrior doesnt get to 58 using leather armor

every character in the game, if played correctly, should be able to kill mobs within 2 levels above their current one

i was level 58 and in silithus... with my pet and a trap i was able to consistantly survive three mobs at once (mobs were all 59)

yeah with my warrior 4 levels above is not out of the question, normally without health potions.

usually stick to 3 or less though

There have been plenty of 60's that I've grouped with where I've wondered how in the hell they reached 60. I'm sure it must've taken them at least a year, whereas it took me 2 1/2 months.

its gonna take me about 10 months..but i took a total of about 6-7 months as well as only playing about 5 hours a week over the two summers months on average. now that ive gotten to play fairly seriously ive gone from 40-58 in not long at all.

def not in leather. . quite a ton of armor, 4400 hit points, all blues and a purple except for one green cloak i wear sometimes for +attk power

yea i can take on about 4+ level 56s on my own (been doin that in winterspring) as well as 2 or so 59ish other places. there were 60 warriors out there last night that i saw who were all taking fairly heavy damage 1on1 1on2 and talking to them they siad these were about hte hardest level 60 mobs for them to farm in the game too. if you have a class that can stay out of melee range against most of these things it seems to be not too bad tho

i was pwning in world pvp last night. killed a few level 60s (two mages), a 59 hunter, and a 57 druid and 58 rogue attacked me at the same time when i was about 75% health and i killed the druid (with both attacking me) before i died and got a few good hits in on the rogue. i was happy

forgot to respond to that too saying that yea, hunters are def one of the best if not the best grinding class end game and warriors are one of the worst(poor design on the warrior part) EVERY farmer on our server is now a hunter do to the fact that they can last for a long time with mobs with their pet, and not having to be in melee range. as well as not really mana based = not much downtime

with three mobs at once i have no choice but to be in melee range. my pet is keeping one busy, maybe a trap keeps another one busy (but that only lasts like 3 seconds) and the second i fire a ranged attack at the third mob it aggroes me and gets within melee range. you can only do so much when that happens. scatter shot or wing clip to distract it long enough to get back to xbow range. but then its right back in your face. couple that with trying to stay close to make sure your pet doesnt die. overall 3 mobs at your level is not a very optimal fight for hunters because of the lack of ranged options you have in the situation where your mail armor has to be able to stand up at least a little bit to get the fight done. thats when your equipment and skill plays a larger role than just the ability to fight from xbow range.

They're all hunters because they can tag 3 mobs at the same time with minimal effort.

so im the luckiest farmer alive today.

this morning, 4 kills in a row drop (in order): golden pearl, a blue world drop (wing tip helm ors omething?), green, green. great money there

later tonight...on ONE spitelash i looted:
-a clam with an iridescent pearl(about 1-2g)
-superior healing potion
-blue world drop
-green
-and always silver of course

i mean wtf haha. normally you get silver and like 75% of the time a clam and inside the clam 75% of the time just meat but sometimes a clam. that was just insane
