yes, thats why auctioneer scans the AH and makes a database of average buyouts.

my database is so vast, i basically know how much eveything should go for.

auctioneer will accumulate data every time you scan the AH, and over time your statistics get so numerous that you will approach data for the exact market values of every item.

for each item auctioneer will list...

how many times it has been seen at the AH
the average starting price
the average buyout price
the median value for buyouts
and it will suggest a starting price and buyout price for you to sell the item at
the suggested prices are either a price 5% low in order to undercut competition or
300% higher than vendor prices if the item hasnt been seen at the AH before

its a good mod and to those that say they would rather be playing the game than sitting at the AH. well, you scan the AH, leave your computer for 10 minutes while it finishes (go get yourself a beer or smoke a cig or something) then you come back and look through the AH for about 5 minutes to buy items for resale. simple as that.

but hey, if you would rather be out "playing" the game, go right ahead, you can find me at the mailbox picking up my gold.

it would be useful on any server

as new items come out, the value for other items will fluctuate reletively.

true market value will change over time, due to supply and demand economics, no matter what server you are on.

so even though a newer server doesnt have as established of an economy, auctioneer would still be useful in putting you ahead of the selling game

How the hell do you get auctioneer to store more? It tells me that i ran out of space once so i stoped. Also is there a new version out? Ive had this annoying box with missing string something or other coming up with red letters every time i sign on. Im going to need at least 1500 for a mount and im at 600 now. I cant farm any more runecloth without going insane for my SW faction, ill be damned if i ride a cat around for the rest of my WoW career.

I'm kind of disappointed with the paladin changes. It did nothing to change the end game role of the paladin. They will still be a heal/cleanse/buff bot. The judgements are still suboptimal debuffs. Seal of Command has been nerfed, as if paladin dps needed a nerf. The real funny thing is that paladin healing is almost unchanged. And blizzard said that by going 31 into holy it would improve significantly.

This is the answer to my prayers. With this you could all but spam spell like soulfire and shodowburn in instances and PvP. Also, switching back and fourth between pets is much less of a concern.
