I have a 60 paladin. Everyone likes to complain about paladins or say that everyone that plays a paladin is a tool, etc. Can paladins be powerful if played correctly? Sure, but this goes for any class. IMO, blizzard just didnt create paladins correctly. They are balanced entirely around a 12-second invuln on a 5 min cooldown. Sloppy design.

Anyways, hows this for a compromise: on the 24th and 25th, WoW will become all about christmas. Trees everywhere, quests to deliver gifts to the baby jesus (who will be behind the goldshire inn) and all pvp will be disabled as the race of azeroth celebrate the fellowship of man.

BUT ALSO
For the full length of Hanukkah, there will be menorahs in the cities and quests to make sure the orphans have dreidels.

NOT TO MENTION
On Kwanzaa, all the NPCs will become black.

This system would clearly be better for everyone rather than the generic "holiday" period.

at 58 with my shaman. dueled my first lvl 60, it was a rogue and the fight lasted about 10 seconds. She cheapshot me, effects wore off. I turned and let loose on her. She got me down to 80% health and she was dead it was a very easy fight. Ive been the main FC in WSG matches here lately and we have won 11-2 so far. AB doesnt seem to come up very often but there still arent many 50+'s yet.

yeah i personally have downed through golemagg helping another guild until my guild was MC capable sulfuron is pretty easy long as you have some decent tanks and healers. Agreed golemagg is pretty straightforward. Everyone says shazz is easy but for an inexperienced group shazz is a pain in the ass, will give all 3 a try next weekend hopefully.

I really wish the end game instances weren't 40 man but 20 man.

It would be so much easier to get a pro 20 man group going, even for mid-level guilds like mine. If blizzard wants an epic feel, they need more stuff like the end of ZF when you're on the top of the tower and mobs rush you.

Bah, I am really curious what a warlock's dmg is going to be like in 1.9. No more negative resists? Outrageous dmg is what made up for the subpar escaping/defense. I'm going to miss hitting ppl with 6000 dmg all at once (with only +30 spell dmg I might add).

Making endgame pets completely useless again despite promises to make them useful? Where do I sign up! Oh, it only takes about 30 soul shards to hold it for 10 minutes? Thats fantastic! I'm so glad it has extra damage and armor to wail on me while I attempt to recapture it.

Eh, its probably not as bad as it sounds, but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if it was.

Seeing as how I doubt you hit people for 6000dmg often (if at all), I doubt you'll miss it 'very much'. Even soulfire 6k crits are farely rare (near impossible against FR groups) and this assured damage increase may work well in group pvp.

Yea the endgame system is somewhat broken. The initial 5 mins is where I like the infernal to do most of its damage and then I put it on Stay and mount up.

Near 6k dmg isn't nearly as hard as ppl think. If you hit them with a CoE and seduce and get to the destro max range, you cast soulfire. As soon as it goes off, immediately start an Immolate. As soon as that goes off, hit with Conflag. All 3 should hit at the same time. Having +crit gear and nasty penetration bonuses allow for incredible face melting action.

Yeah, I tried to be very careful with wording "all at once" . Its mostly just for cool points though. I wish I would see the look on that Shaman's face last night whenever he died from taking that all at once.

I dunno, making someone just sit there for a few seconds then die all at once gives me an amazing sense of satisfaction .

My MC raid grp is now on Domo, pretty sure we'll be able to down his ass this week. We've been clearing the rest of MC no problem. My guilds main MC raid grp has Rag on a regular farming basis now, so it's really easy to copy, then modify their tactics which has greatly sped up our MC progress as compared to theirs. Rag actually dropped http://www.thottbot.com/?i=38350 last week and we immediately made the hammer for one of our Warrs.

ok so today, i ran UBRS for the first time...ALL three of the things that i needed dropped:
-painweavers band
-spauldors of valor
-breastplate of valor

3 warriors, 1 of which already had these and was just getting attuned to BWL, the other two (me and another) needed all 3.

first of all i was really lucky that all 3 dropped. but what sucked is i never rolled above a 32 on all 3 of my rolls (it was on master loot fyi but the leader had me and the other warrior roll on all of them throughout the instance)

he won the spauldors and im like ok cool whatever fair he won the roll. then on the last boss he wins painweaver band on a need roll and so im thinking "wow i suck at rolling"

then the master looter links "breastplate of valor" and im like "sweet, can i have that since the other warrior got both of the first two drops?" and the master looter said "no this isnt a guild run both of you random". and he won.

now i now this was somewhat of a pug (about 4 guilds) but still youd think out of common sense with the drop rate and how hard it is to get a UBRS full run pug (1st successful group in 2 weeks for me) the master looter would give me ONE of the things...especially since the other warrior SUCKED. he kept wanting to be main tank, however he was a terrible terrible tank. he was in about 4th place for damage taken (i was having to cover for him and take aggro nonstop throughout ubrs). and on both bosses he was supposed to be the main tank and lost aggro and i took over in the MIDDLE of the fight and held aggro the entire time.

needless to say i was pissed after this run
