That is complete bullcrap. Everyone knows in pugs that the rule is usually one upgrade then pass. I can understand some slight variations in the rule but after he won two blues? I'da been pissed.

had another bad UBRS experiene tonight

ran with a guild "hades"

first of all they were dicks to begin with, wouldnt answer any of my questions and just gave off an "F U youre just here cuz we were short a warrior" aura. anyways during the eggs part of ubrs one of THEIR guild members ran through an egg and aggrod about 10 of them..so, me being behind him and the last guy to go through the eggs tried to save him and used my challenging shout to aggro them all to me while i called a mage for aoe and i brought them up the stairs.

well the group turned and saw all the things on me and blamed ME and said i could continue but theres no way i was getting loot over their warriors after that. and of course the shaman in their group didnt speak up and say he did it ha.

i bit my tongue and went on and nothing dropped for me basically, i was pissed as they talked about me "being a noob' and my guild "sucking, they dont know what the hell they are doing they dont even run MC" on their vent chat. the thing is, their guild isnt even close to being one of the top 5 or so horde guilds on my server, and the guild im in now is one i was in from about 35 on because i have friends in there and it was a fun atmosphere to level in, i didnt care about MC or BWL pre 60 obviously. and in fact i am most likely getting into one of the top horde guilds on our side over Christmas break

there was more to the story (them having their warrior tank-terribly geared compared to me..and thus our priest running out of mana healing him and the tank dying and the priest oom..) but i wont go into that. but yea some kids in this game can be assholes, thats my conclusion after today

lol. id just like a competent group sometimes. im tired of being the only warrior keeping my aggro and not trying to dps in the BRM instances and stuff and then having casters yell at all the warriors in general hah.

so glad to be joining a guild big enough and with lots of high levels so that i wont have to worry abotu it as much. (its my roommates guild so i know they are pretty competent and know their stuff)

Playing with people you know is great. My guild automatically invites anyone you know personally RL (great policy by the way, Will). Though they can't raid endgame with our group (they don't care to either), its still fun tag teaming GC when it gets boring and spicing up the atmosphere.

^^ thats because we never have one single problem with either LBRS or UBRS

we have enough people to do them within our guild.

we can do them at a moments notice
we know the instance inside and out
we are all on ventrillo and have communication down
we all play well together within our roles and any of our members are good enough to adjust how they need to when something unexpected happens

i dont think ive ever seen a legitimate death from our guild in that instance.

speaking of LBRS, my fire prot. recipe dropped last night while I was helping a guildie out with Warlord's Command. I ninjaed that shit pretty quickly, but most of everyone understood I was rolling N b/c I'm an alch. Some shammy tried giving me grief bout it, but he wasn't even an alch. and just wanted to vendor the fucker for ~250G, so I told him to reroll while I was using the recipe

gotta love WoW, term "Don't feed the troll" never applied so much than here.

and yes I must've run UBRS at least 30 times and no devout chest

my server has so little pvp that i've been doing only a few hours a week of battlegrounds (granted with a guild group that steamrolls pretty much everyone) and getting 40,000 or so honor which is good enough to keep me right around 50th place.

Have the MT tank her where she spawns and have everyone else bunch up away from her. Have your secondary tank with the big group of people. When she nets everyone, she'll run to your big group of people. Everyone stops damage and the secondary tank grabs her and takes her back to the main tank. Repeat that until she is dead.

Abolish poison like crazy (decursive takes care of this). Mages have to AE the groups of the spiders that come out, rogues can take out the singles. DPS her down or else you'll run out of mana quick, especially your mages iirc.

just bought my AV epic frostwolf. already got my epic 2h mace, epic shield, epic ring, and abotu the best blue 1H axe pre MC, onyx etc. as well as having a few of my valor blue pieces and in a few weeks having PVP rank blue pieces just as good or slightly better than a few of the blue valor pieces im missing. ill be ready to move on to the big raids

Heh, i've run UBRS about 10 times and LBRS about 8

of those runs, one of the LBRS runs was with the guild, the rest have been PUGs... and i still like both instances
