You get an amazon gift card for christmas, and spend it on a ped-egg, moisturizer, a nose hair trimmer, some canning jars, and some wire.

Your favorite Christmas present was the 3 loads of crush and run you got for the driveway

medium sized rock mixed with dirt is the best I can describe it. Its very good for establishing a road base. I plan on paving the driveway this spring so I am trying to establish a hard packed base to pave on.

I think I already posted about the 12 year old passing me in a 5K this spring...

this time, a 10 year old passed me in a bike race yesterday, as he was ruining my line around a turn.
His group also started a few minutes behind mine

+1 on needing recovery time after drinking.

Went to a show and a dance party last night, and my God, I had to go right back to bed after breakfast because I was so tired. Finally got the day started at 3.

Cheap beer is not my friend. Staying out till 2 am when I've been going to bed lately ~10 or 11 isn't either.

Heard a rap song mention flossin'.

Immediately made a mental note that I really should floss more.

your plans to slack all day Saturday were side tracked when you and your wife found some bookcases that would fit perfectly in your living room, and the following hours of finding a car and someone to help move them. Sometimes I feel like my life has turned into Will Farrell's in Old School:

"Well, um, actually a pretty nice little saturday, we're um, we're gonna go to Home Depot. Yeah, buy some wallpaper, maybe get some flooring, stuff like that. Maybe Bed Bath And Beyond, I don't know. I Don't know if we'll have enough time"

i'm not that old, but someone posted a "sorry for party rocking" gif so i looked the song up, and first of all it has 33 million views on youtube and i've never heard it, and second i thought "jesus this isn't even music". it was a pretty feeling-old moment.

I could have been home by 11:00 p.m..

Apparently from now on my libido is going to get up and go every September only to come roaring back in April. This probably always happened to a certain extent (hence the saying "spring has sprung"), but now there's a big difference.

I don't think that's where phrase comes from.

Quote :
"Spring is sprung, the grass is ris.
I wonders where the birdies is.
They say the birds is on the wing.
Ain't that absurd?
I always thought the wing was on the bird."

I was in a stat class at NCSU last week and the dude was explaining the controvery over the 2000 presidential election. He said something about "I guess all of you were 9 or 10 when that happened."

I VOTED IN THAT ONE

You've also been losing weight. That's probably why. Good job, btw.

I picked up a couple bartending this shifts this weekend for a friend in an emergency situation and because I didn't mind the extra cash. My feet were so sore the next day and by the end of the night my lower back was store and stiff from reaching down to get beers in the lower part of the cooler. I felt geriatric.

Sometimes I wake up and a part of me hurts for no specific reason. Yesterday it was this one spot right below my left shoulder blade. I didn't do a damn thing the previous day either.

1) you're the only ones left out of your social circles that haven't gotten married.

2) people show up to social activities (beer drinking, running, parties, bike polo, etc.) with babies
attached in Baby Bjorns and BOB running strollers. Instead of slamming tallboys like you used to
between matches, all of you take turns feeding the kids mashed up carrots, or holding them.

thanks, but the losing weight is the result of the increased metabolism, not the cause of it... not doing anything else different really
